I guess that means it’s time to dive into homework.
law school, week one
I’m going to chock up how exhausting this week has been to the fact that I’m an amateur at this whole law school thing. The girl I’ve become the closest to, Christen, is feeling the same pain, so atleast I’m not alone.
But right now my life consists of:
waking up really early because halifax traffic sucks.
being in class all. day. (until 3 or 4:30 every day)
coming home and having my brief relaxation period. I usually refuel, shower, do laundry - just stuff that isn’t school.
then I read, read, read until about 11-midnight. Then I talk to Elliott, then I go to bed.
And then I do it all over again.
It’s very exhausting and, thus far, not super fun. But I guess that part comes later.
I’ll keep you posted.
my boyfriend is reading the hunger games
and he’s just getting to the the reaping and I’m all sldkalskd because I can’t wait until he gets into it and meets Peeta and Cinna and GOD I LOVE THESE BOOKS. the end.

What is the secret? My best… 2 years for Elliott & I :) I don’t really know if there is a secret. I think it’s the same secret as shorter-distance relationships. We just work. We sort out issues, we make time to see each other or talk to each other online and we love and support each other. I think it takes just as much time and effort and energy as any other relationship, it’s just a different kind of energy. To add to that: It’s the same thing with friendships. Noelle, Rachel and I basically follow each other all over the internet and keep up with each others lives because we care about each other. And I’m super glad to have met both of them in the way that I did <3

anyone who knows me well enough, knows who this is to:
- you should be jealous of my life. I’m happy and out to my family and friends. I’m dating an amazing guy and have been for two years. I’m going to law school. I work a great job in the summers. Frankly, I’m a BAMF, which you totally failed to see.
- on a more pleasant note, you should really just get your shit together. Stop trying so hard to be something your not. That’s what I did, and look at me.
